Looking Forward to Autumn

I love autumn. I’m glad that summer is almost over and I’m looking forward to my favorite season of the year.

There are no four seasons where I grew up and since moving to the US, and had experienced the changing seasons, I have come to enjoy fall the most. While I like the snowy scenery of winter, the cold spell can be brutally bitter. On the other hand, the summer heat is not very kind to my sensitive skin, and as much as I like the refreshing springtime, nothing tweaks my fancy like autumn does. Continue reading

Niagara Falls in 72 Hours

Last summer, the hubby surprised me with a short trip to Niagara Falls for my birthday. Surprise was definitely an understatement, as he never does anything that is spontaneous. A Subtle Nautical Theme Bathroom

 

Following my tutorial on A Beachy Centerpiece, I promised to share my attempt on creating a nautical theme for the powder room also used as the guest bathroom.  So far, I’ve stenciled the wall, had the hubby create a frame for the mirror and put up a couple of framed pictures.
